A note from Travis

I started Buyer Match because owners who sell on their own deserve a broker they can call without being sold to. Register the house, and if a buyer I’m working with fits, you’ll hear from me. If not, you’ve lost nothing.

What registering gets you

01Private

Nothing is published.

No marketing and no address shared. Nothing goes to a buyer without your separate written authorization, checked against MLS rules first.

02Read by a person

Matched by hand.

Travis compares each home with what the buyers he is working with need, including buyers who start with him later.

03Yours to keep

A price opinion.

A Horizon Realty Group broker will tell you what we’d price it at, whether or not you list.

For owners selling on their own

Selling it yourself? We respect that.

Plenty of owners sell their own homes. If that’s your plan, registering doesn’t change it. It adds one more way for a serious buyer to find you.

It also gives you a broker to ask when you want a second opinion: on price, on North Carolina’s Offer to Purchase and Contract, on due diligence, or on what happens between contract and closing. No agreement first, and no pressure after.

How it works

Three steps, and you decide each one.

  1. Tell us about the house.Address, type of home and when you might move. About two minutes.
  2. Travis compares it by hand. With the price range, area, timing and must-haves of the buyers he is working with.
  3. If a buyer fits, he calls you.You decide what happens next. Nothing is shared without your written OK.

The honest part

There may not be a match.

This is done by hand, one home at a time. Depending on price and location, a good fit may take a while, and there may not be one. Anyone who says they have buyers waiting for a house they haven’t seen is selling you something. What you get today: a broker who knows about your home before a search result does.

Questions

Before you register.

How often will you contact me?

Once, to confirm the details you entered. After that, if a buyer fits, if you ask for a price opinion, and with occasional Buyer Match updates, which you can stop from any email.

Does registering commit me to anything?

No. There is no agreement and no fee. You can keep selling it yourself, list with anyone, or do nothing.

Will you share my address?

No. Nothing about your home goes to any buyer unless you sign a separate written authorization, and it is checked against MLS rules first.

Who will call me?

Travis, from (252) 632-8681. If he is unavailable, another Horizon Realty Group broker will, and will say so.

Can I just get a price opinion?

Yes. Book 15 minutes with Travis, or register and ask. You get a number whether or not you list.
